Bababa ba?

Since everybody’s doing it, might as well share my enrollment story.

Story after the jump. But I warn you, maiinis ka.

Day 1: June 2, 2008.
Took the jeep to the CS Admin building. Picked up my form5 and form5A. Took the jeep to NIP. Lined up for advising.

Ma’am Jing (adviser): (after seeing my previous subjects and grades in the CRS site in her laptop) Good news! We’re allowing students who failed or dropped their Physics112 to take up Physics113, Physics121 and Physics131 at the same time while they’re taking up their Physics112, which was opened up especially for you guys. Para naman makahabol na kayo. Haven’t you read the memo? It’s there outside, by the UPPA corkboard.

Me: So ma’am, ie-enlist ko na lang po yung mga subject na yan?

Ma’am Jing: Yes, yes. But don’t worry, naka-reserve na sa inyo yan. Inayos na rin namin yan para hindi magconflict. Here are the schedules (shows me a colorful table in her laptop).

Me: Ohhhh. Sige po ma’am, thank you po ma’m! So bukas na lang po ako mag-eenlist?

Ma’am Jing: Ay wait lang! Actually since CS subjects lang naman kukunin mo, pwede na ngayon. Shhh, quiet ka lang ha. (opens CRS site in her laptop) What’s your student number again?

Me: Ma’am 2006-XXXXX po.

Ma’am Jing: Ok. Let me just see your subjects. (look, look). Ok cancel ko na itong Chem 17 ha? And ito mga kailangan mo…. (click, enter student number, rinse, repeat a few times). O ayan ok ka na. There are your subjects (shows me my subjects)

Me: Ma’am yun na po yun? Nakapasok na ako sa subjects na yun?

Ma’am Jing: Yes. Just find a computer and copy the class codes and sections and then you’re done.

And yes, that was it. Just looked for a computer copied everything, cancelled my PE1 (because my schedule was already hell as it is), had lunch, and filled out my Form5. Drove back to NIP to get my Form5 signed by Ma’am Jing. Drove to CS Admin and had my Form5 cleared, assessed and validated all at the same time while Josie and I waited for it in the cozy cozy airconditioned CS Auditorium.

Day 2: June 3, 2008
Went to PNB in the morning and paid for Vince and I’s tuition fees in one go.

And, that was basically it. Hahaha. Yeap, yung conversation lang namin ni Ma’am Jing yung nagpahaba sa entry na ito. She just entered my student number in the CRS site and I got into the subjects I needed.

Since I was done and was just gloating about, I accompanied Josie and endured enlistment hell with her. After she (finally) got all her subjects, we drove to Kopi Roti and relaxed with a few kopi buns and 2 mugs of kopi. Ahhh. Heaven.

Day 3: June 4, 2008
Went with Josie for her clearance, assessment and validation. We were done after lunch. :)

Hahahaha. That was the easiest enlistment period I went through, ever. Heehee. :D
