Soul Meets Body

I have a question.

Can your soul leave your body while you’re sleeping?

I’ve been having this awful experience of waking up in the wee hours of the morning with a sticky plastic bag in my lungs and throat, and my arms and legs frozen.

Next thing I know I’m walking all over the house, through walls, through doors.

Last night I walked towards the car, and leaned my head on the window. Then I find myself walking back to my room, seeing my body on my bed, and lying down on top of it. And I get this weird shift-y feeling. It felt like I was vacuumed inside my own body.

Being able to walk but not being able speak and breathe, it’s the crappiest feeling ever. But the vacuum-y feeling, on the other hand, is the best feeling.

It’s really scary. I hope they’re all just bad dreams. Sometimes, I’m too scared to sleep because of this.

    Mom: I don’t eat before I sleep. I sleep hungreh. T_T

ris: Sinasapian nila ako? Oh noooo. Anyways. Sabi nila ata yung soul daw mga 6 grams? Ewan ko kung san napulot ng ate ko yun. Hehehe

OH man, Ba, I get this too :( but it was those times when I didn’t pray before I slept. Doesn’t usually happen now. It really sucks when you can’t talk but you imagine all the things happening. Like for example when that happens to me, I get scared so I scream and shout and try to pinch myself so that I can wake up but that’s actually just in my thoughts, it never really happens. I wonder if there’s a big psychological explanation to all this :-s

Juice: I pull my hair, scream, pinch and kick to wake myself up, but just like in your experiences, it seems like it’s just in my thoughts. :( It’s scary, really. The only remedy I can think of is to pray before I sleep.

There are theories that your soul can travel while your mind is in the sleeping state. Your consciousness travels while your at rest. It just so happened that your consciousness traveled around your house and you were aware of it.

What you was an out-of-body experience (OOBE) or more commonly known as astral projection.

The feeling of you lying down and you feel like you can’t breathe, speak and there’s this heavy feeling, that’s because you became conscious while you were at your waking state. when you soul is theoretically coming back to your physical body.

    :D

    *you are…

    wah, typos…

  11. BA Says:

Kara: Pareho pala tayong nakakaexperience nun! Ahahaha

Ronin: So does that mean, I’m a powerful being? Hahaha. Kidding aside, is this thing common?

  12. Ronin Says:

this is common. i for example experienced it frequently last year. minsan nga namimeet ko pa yung dad ko eh, tapos pag-uusapan pa namin yun paggising. naalala ko one time, nasa “astral state” kami, pinabalik niya ako kasi maaga pa yung pasok ko.

  13. Ronin Says:

well they say that it means that you are becoming more aware. yun lang ang hindi ko alam kung ano yun ibig sabihin nila doon.

  14. BA Says:

Ronin: Oh no. Awareness. Anyways, wala pa ata akong nakakausak sa aking “astral state.” Yung pinaka-vivid image ko sa ganung dream is when my cross was pulled away from me.
