Bababa ba?

Sorry everyone. A lot of things have been happening at home (personal problems at home which I would rather not disclose to the public), and in school too. Exams tomorrow, and I still haven’t finished studying. Damn power outages.

Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon or evening, I would be replying to your emails, comments, etc.

To the UP Bloggers’ Circle: I’ll be back! Just keep the discussions going. Hindi lang naman ako yung tao dun, diba?

But, but, but, some updates on us.

On its official recognition by the university: Various discussions have been going on in the Bloggers’ Circle Yahoo! group. Sir Rommel had suggested that university recognition might not be such a good idea, because “bloggers belong to the blogosphere, beyond the reach of the University rules.”

So, Sir Rom proposed that we first make this a formal virtual organization.

Another point raised was regarding central advocacies. Alex said in his message that we should “get [our] advocacies right the first time … We don’t know if blogging will still be a feasible technology two years from now. Why not expand the idea to New Media?”

Marielle agrees with Alex, saying, “[maybe] in 5 years, blogging will go out of style… It might be better to be an organization for social media, because it encompasses so much more than just blogging.”

In the most recent message, Sir Rom addresses the concern regarding structure. He asks, “what are we trying to achieve in putting structure in an otherwise unstructured blogosphere?”

So what do you guys think?
