Remember the times where everyone was lugging the gigantic analogue cellphone models? Digital mobile phones were only available to rich people.
So around 8-10 years ago you would see me carrying the big Microtac “ultralite” mobile phone while others would be bringing their “small” 5110s and 6110s. As if naman bibigyan ng seryosong cellphone ang isang 10 year old (I got my first ever “real” cellphone when I was 12).
Nowadays, the newest trends may be the laptops. With the establishment and development of wireless networks, bringing a laptop is the way to go.
So you’ll be seeing me carrying the big IBM Thinkpad with a Pentium 2 processor while others would be carrying their more hightech and less bulky (and more expensive!) laptops. :p

[...] Well, the only luxuries I have now are my iPod and my PSP. And now both are useless because of the said missing accessories. Tsk. I supposedly own a hand-me-down laptop, but that too is rendered useless due to the carelessness of a few housemates (the lcd connector snapped-off, BIOS battery not working properly, screen always flickering and blacking out, go figure). Our desktop computer gave up on us (Windows stopped recognizing the oh-so important drivers after a BOSD). [...]

[...] I’m sorry to say I had to retire my Thinkpad 390E (look it up—it’s a really really dated model, but that tells you how hardy ThinkPads can be) since it could no longer keep up to my requirements. I do hope it’s now in good hands. [...]
