Keep the person close to your heart. :)
So let’s not put Jesus on a superdupermega-high pedestal, bringing Him further away from us. Because really, I think He wouldn’t like that. I think He’d rather be with us, than just be up there watching us from a distance. Well for me, that’s why He became human in the first place.
Make Jesus your friend! Keep Him close to your heart.
Wait, don’t just keep Him close to your heart, keep Him IN your heart. :D

PS But of course, let’s not forget that He is still above us all. Let’s just not get too lost in giving in to the “ideal” uber mighty powerful images of Him that instead of loving Him, we end up fearing Him. I used to imagine Jesus having a powerful commanding aura and big-time presence whatever that I’d shy away if ever I saw Him. But further reading and praying made me realize how human and approachable He is. :) Siya pa nga yung nanga-approach ng tao eh.
